Kenna and James met in Japan so the Normandale Community College’s Japanese Garden in Bloomington, MN was the perfect choice for their ceremony. The forecast called for a 40% chance of rain all afternoon, but the rain managed to hold off most of the day with a few sprinkles during pre-ceremony photos. Their reception was at the beautiful Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie, MN. The sunset was gorgeous and we were able to bring Kenna and James out to the golf course at that time for a few more photos. LOVE beautiful sunsets!

We were traveling through rural Minnesota on our way to photograph Aaron and Andrea’s reception, passing by beautiful rolling hills, farm fields, and cow pastures, when we came to quite a sight. Their reception was at the Little Log House in Hastings, MN which is an amazing place filled with old pioneer buildings, an antique gas station, a spiral bridge, a working machine shop with vintage tractors, and the Village Hall which is a great space for a reception. Aaron and Andrea, who had their wedding in Cabo San Lucas, threw a great party… it was a lot of fun to photograph!

Jon and Jess’ ceremony was held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights and their reception was at Mississippi Dunes in Cottage Grove. They had such a beautiful day for their wedding! It was filled with deep emotion, laughter and love.

Lisa and Chris were married along the North Shore at the Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors, MN. What a beautiful location! These guys were all smiles (even though it was a little on the chilly side!). One funny story worth mentioning: We gave Chris a pair of hand-warmers (the kind you use while hunting) while we were photographing them next to the lake. During the ceremony, we noticed him shifting around a bit. Turns out, he forgot to take the warmers out of his pockets, and they were reaching maximum temperature right around the time he was saying his vows! Ouch. He handled it well (it could be that his day-job as a firefighter helped him maintain his composure. ha ha.)

Jon and Amanda’s wedding was great fun to photograph. Their ceremony was held at Living Christ Lutheran Church in Chanhassen, MN and their reception at the Embassy Suites in Bloomington, MN. We loved how relaxed these guys were throughout the whole day. They’re a fantastic couple and we were honored to be their photographers.

Vanessa and Eli’s ceremony was held at the beautiful Wesley United Methodist Church in Minneapolis and their reception was at the Woman’s Club in Minneapolis. They were such a delightful couple to photograph and every detail of the day was lovely.

We started Rick and Julie’s wedding day photographing everyone getting ready, then spent some time at Julie’s family farm capturing some photos of the wedding party, as well as photos of just the two of them. Their ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Church in St. Cloud and the reception was at Mulligan’s Event Center in Sartell, MN.

It was a cool day but the sun was shining, which helped to warm everyone up. There was a lot of fun and laughter, good music, and beautiful moments.

Lisa and Tim’s wedding and reception were at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield, MN. We also took some fun shots at Augsbug Park in Richfield. We really loved all of the beautiful details and incredible emotion of the day. Tim and Lisa were a joy to photograph!

We had a great, full day photographing Catherine and Will. Their wedding was the weekend after our session, but they decided to scale back their ceremony and instead go for a full-day portrait session with the two of them. We went to a lot of really awesome locations: the Sculpture Gardens, the Guthrie, Central Park in Roseville, The Mill City Museum, and a few other cool places around Minneapolis.  

One of the greatest things about Catherine and Will are their free spirits and sense of adventure. Their humor is contagious, and their love for each other is obviously very strong. Thanks for the great time, Catherine and Will! Congrats on your wonderful marriage!

Kedra and Patrick’s wedding and reception were held at the Landmark Center in St. Paul, MN. We really had a great time photographing their wedding… not only was it a beautiful location with a lovely couple, the whole wedding party was full of fun. Congrats, Kedra and Patrick on your marriage!
