Kirby and Jacob have that great spark for each other that’s so much fun to photograph. We went around the Stone Arch Bridge/Mill City Museum area of Minneapolis for their engagement photos on a cool, wet Fall day. We managed to stay warm thanks to the use of those little hand warming things when we were outside, and taking time to explore inside the Guthrie Theater for cool photo spots. It was such fun photographing these guys!
We photographed Tricia and Jake at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. These guys were so natural and fun in front of the camera… we had a great time!
We photographed Sam and Adam in downtown St. Paul, starting at Mears Park. We then made our way to Harriet Island. The light was so great that day, and the sky was fabulous. We loved capturing the fun they have with each other!
Vanessa and Eli’s session was at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. We had a lot of fun finding the perfect spots along the lake shore, then heading to the Rose Garden and the Peace Gardens, just off of the lake. Vanessa and Eli, you’re a great couple and we’re looking forward to photographing your wedding!
We photographed Julie and Rick on Julie’s family farm in St. Cloud, MN. It was a gorgeous day and a beautiful location. We had a lot of fun with their sense of humor and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding!
Jon and Amanda’s session was a great adventure! We planned on starting their session very early in the morning, but because of the rain we started a little later in the day and made our way to downtown St. Paul. We photographed in Rice Park, near the Science Museum and at the Landmark Center… it was a fabulous time!
We photographed Ashley and Tony at South Valley Park in Inver Grove Heights. They will soon be celebrating their 1 year anniversary… it was special to capture their relationship and see the love they have for each other. Congrats on 1 year, guys!
We set out to photograph Katie and Jason at the Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove. We were able to sneak some fair weather shots just before the lovely cloudy evening (which according to weather.com wasn’t supposed to produce rain) quickly turned into a heavy downpour. We decided to drive down the road to see if we could find a dry place to shoot and ended up knocking on the door of a kindly fella who didn’t even blink at the request for us to use his barn. (We didn’t catch your name, but THANK YOU!) We were drenched by the end of the session, but it was fun going with the flow!
We photographed Amanda and Luke at their home in Inver Grove Heights, as well as a park nearby. We were caught in a surprise rainstorm, but with the help of robes and an umbrella, we managed to make our way to the park, and have a great time. Congrats on 5 years, Amanda and Luke!
Andrea and Aaron were a really fun couple to photograph, and it’s easy to see how much love they have for each other. It was great getting to know them as we drove around to some great locations in Forest Lake. Plus, the light seemed to get better with each stop. Thanks guys for such a fun engagement session!
