Sara and Al’s engagement session began in the morning, before the sun even started to rise. The morning light was beautiful and, as I’ve said before, is some of our favorite light to photograph in.

I really love how these guys laugh and play… they were full of fun and up for anything! We adventured all over the place, including Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. So fun!

Tonia and Michael’s session started at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. We had fun exploring in the woods and around “Wedding Hill” (quite literally, it’s a wedding venue for nature-lovers. Really gorgeous!). We also photographed at the Stone Arch Bridge area in Minneapolis. These guys were so playful and natural in front of the camera… we have such a fun job!

Posting all of these fun engagement sessions (more coming!) is making me seriously excited to photograph all of these wonderful couple’s weddings. We talk all of the time about how awesome we think our wedding couples are… and summer is coming SO soon!!

We photographed Leigh and Eddie by the Guthrie Theater and Mill City Museum in Minneapolis. I really love that area for the awesome textures and colors that come across so nicely in photos! These guys are a blast, and I’m sure their wedding will be amazing!

We started Sarah and James’ session, in Prior Lake, before the crack of dawn (to take advantage of the lovely morning light). Sunrise light has an amazing quality that can’t be found any other time of day. Love crack of dawn sessions!

These guys are so fun, we’re really excited to photograph their wedding!

Abbey and Jeff are big Minnesota Twins fans, so we started their photo session at the new Target Field. It’s a gorgeous place! Thanks to a generous tour guide we were even able to sneak in for a few photos with the field in the background. So awesome. After that we made our way to the Stone Arch Bridge and Guthrie Theater area. These guys were wonderful to photograph because they were bubbling over with so much joy. We love love, and love photographing people in love. These guys are quite obviously in love! What a fun session!
