Capri was such an awesome little bundle! So sweet! Newborns are definitely one of my favorite subjects to photograph… their incredibly tiny fingernails, curled up legs, and mid-sleep smiles. Every baby is a wonder. It’s amazing to be able to freeze those details in a photograph!
We photographed Henry’s parents back when they got married, and have been photographing Henry since he was born. What a handsome little guy! I love following the life of families as the seasons in their lives change… it’s wonderful to see. It definitely reminds me of the studio I worked for when I was a teenager… At the time the photographers I worked for had photographed my mom’s high school senior photos, my parent’s wedding photos, and then my own senior photos. Life is such a beautiful progression!

Happy Halloween! Yes, I said Halloween. I just couldn’t resist posting a few of our favorites from a Halloween party we photographed… I seriously started feeling chilly and smelling wood smoke as I chose my favorites. Ahhh… fall. My favorite season. And this party embraced all that was fun: great food, a bonfire, games, and (so awesome) a “happy halloween” parade.
Another thing about these photos that had me itching to post them is the fact that Three Little Birds is one of the most the most amazing childcare/preschool ever. Whenever I check out their blog I find myself wishing I was that age all over again… seriously. Check it out. I’ll bet you never had this much fun when you were their age.

It always amazes me when I look at photos of my kids from a few months ago and see how much they’ve changed in such a short amount of time. That’s how I feel when we look at photos we’ve taken of our clients… Sophia is a sweet baby that we’ve photographed from birth, all the way to 12 months old, and she’s no exception to the rule. She’s grown so much!

Veronica had some great style and personality during her 3 month old session in River Falls! The session started in her parents beautiful color-filled home then moved outside to enjoy the breezy Autumn afternoon. She was such a joy to photograph!
