I had a great time photographing a sweet little girl named Isabel at Como Lake for her 2-year photos. Things were fun and relaxed and full of beautiful little moments.

Luke Stombaugh came home from Iraq after his second year-long deployment with the Army National Guard. His wife, Amanda, asked us to document the emotional event when Luke and others from the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade arrived home to St. Paul. It was a beautiful moment and I was glad to be part of it.

I photographed Breanna at Como Park and Lake Como in St. Paul. It was a beautiful day… the light was gorgeous! Breanna was a natural in front of the camera and we had a great time.

Maddy was great! We spent our time near the Stone Arch Bridge, the Guthrie Theater and the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis… it was fun scouting for new spots and climbing around on the rocks, and we managed to find some cool spots I had never seen before.

Meet Christian, our Senior Ambassador from Como Park High School. This session was a blast… we ended up shooting a majority of the photos inside and outside of First Avenue and 7th Street Entry in downtown Minneapolis. Christian plays guitar in a metal band so we really wanted to capture his passion for music. A big thank you to First Ave. for allowing us to use their awesome space for this shoot! It was a perfect location!

Jacob was fabulous! He slept quite a bit, which is awesome for a newborn shoot… he’s a lucky little guy, too, because he’s got a proud big sister to take care of him!

Congrats, you guys, it was great hanging out and getting to know your family better!

We photographed Amy and Brandon’s wedding this last Friday in Oakdale, MN, and their reception at the Maplewood Community Center. It was so much fun being their photographers and capturing the love they have for each other! One unique twist for these guys was that their first kiss ever together was their first kiss as a married couple. It was really special witnessing and documenting that kiss!

Congratulations to you both! You are wonderful together!

We went around Minneapolis to the Mill City Museum, the Stone  Arch Bridge, and a great railroad track on Nicolette Island.
